My professional background includes ten years as a mental health therapist as well as twenty years as an Executive Director for multiple not-for-profit organizations. I also served as an executive coach and mentor to individuals and teams.  My research focus for my MBA drew upon the work of sociologist, Jack Mezirow and his theory of perspective transformation, a view that examined how people used critical self-reflection to consider their beliefs and experiences.   My study explored how the perspective transformation process shaped and transformed business leaders.

I work collaboratively with others in their professional and personal lives to identify their needs and provide them with resources and support as they move toward their goals.  Added to my business education and experience, I am trained in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy,  Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Gottman’s Relationship Therapy. I am keenly interested in providing an integrated practice of coaching, counselling, and/or training to provide clients with service that addresses their unique circumstances.
